I just got home from watching This Revolution, all I have to say is, damn if it ever comes to your town GO SEE IT. Incredible film, Rosario was beyond superb, Nathan Crooker was so amazing as well. A lot of the cast were in the theater so it was fun to spot familiar faces when the lights came up (even if Nathan was hiding beneath his hat). I cannot stress enough for people to go out and see this films, it’s that good. Sometime next week expect a more formal review for all of you. There probably wont be any new updates over the next couple of days since yours truly is turning 21 on Friday. So have a great 4th of July weekend for all you American’s out there, have a happy Canada day for all you Canadians, and everyone else, enjoy the weekend!

Gossip
“Rosario Dawson and Jason Lewis, in S.F. for the George Lucas picnic at the Presidio, stayed at the Hotel Vitale, where they celebrated his birthday by soaking in rooftop bathtubs. This is a town that respects celebrities’ privacy, but the tubs are surrounded by bamboo, to make sure. “[ SOURCE ]

The infamous film that got Rosario Dawson arrested last year is finally premiering in New York for one week only. The first showing is tomorrow at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Tickets are $6.50 for members, students, and seniors (please bring ID), and $9 for everyone else. You can purchase tickets online at the Two Boots website. Synopsis: “Shot during the 2004 Republican convention, THIS REVOLUTION is a low-budget high-impact thriller for the political set. The story follows Jake (Nathan Crooker), a network war shooter just back from Iraq who is assigned to cover the run-up to the RNC. When he meets and falls in love with Tina Santiago (Rosario Dawson), a young mother widowed after her husband was killed in Iraq, Jake is forced to question his world view. But it is not until he discovers his network has given his videotape of an anarchist Black Bloc group to Homeland Security that Jake decides to take action.”(click below for more information on the film)
A big oops
Excuse the few moments in which the site updates dissapeared. Your oh so smart webmaster accidentally archived them and had no clue how to get them back for a minute there. In other news, there will be a massive gallery update tomorrow, keep a lookout for that.
MOVIE INSIDER: Rosario Dawson in Down-spiral
“Sounds like Rosario Dawson is taking a walk on the wild side — and then some — in an edgy indie picture she’s set to start shooting in mid-September in New York. Called ‘Descent,’ it’ll have the one-time ‘Josie and the Pussycats’ cutie playing a college girl who appears destined for success. She’s smart, focused, and of course, beautiful. However, tempted into some daring party situations by friends, she discovers she has quite a taste for the taboo. She gets involved with a guy who’s a club DJ and lives in what is described as the surreal world of underground clubs, music, drugs and promiscuity. She also gets involved with a good-looking jock — who proves to have a sadistic side.Sounds like every parent’s nightmare of what could happen when their daughter goes off to school! But, it ought to afford Dawson some great opportunity to show her acting chops — and, uh, more. The film is planned to contain what they’re calling ‘artistic nudity.’ Casting is now underway. “[ SOURCE ]

Pre-Order news
You can pre-order copies of the Warner Brother’s release Alexander from their official site. There are two versions available, the Director’s Cut and the Theatrical Release. There have been all sorts of rumors surrounding the versions one being that the Director’s Cut is shorter and removed the storyline of Alexander and Haphaestion being lovers as well as extended the nude scene between Colin Farrell and Rosario. How true that is I don’t know since I haven’t heard any reports from Oliver Stone himself. The official release date for the DVD is August 2, 2005.Also available for Pre-Order from Best Buy is Robert Rodriguez’s & Frank Miller ’s Sin City. Place your order here, I currently do not know the details of what extras will be available on the DVD but during press conferences at the release of the film Robert mentioned it being a multi-disk set in which you can watch the film as a whole or three seperate episodes. You can always count on Robert for adding a great deal of extras so I’m sure it won’t dissapoint. The official release date for the DVD is August 16, 2005.On a related note, more items were added to the merchadise section.Total sidenote, but how do you like the new calendar? Should we keep it? Would you want to see something like a tag-board as well?
Long awaited updates
The media section and the fanlist section are now both fully updated with working links and such. Enjoy!
