Celebrity stylist Robert Vetica is slated to style the gorgeous tresses of Rosario Dawson for the upcoming Screen Actors Guild Awards Ceremony this Sunday, January 25.
Robert Vetica is well-known for his gorgeous award show looks, including Salma Hayek and Kyra Sedgwick at this year’s 2009 Golden Globes as well as Marion Cotillard’s at last year’s 2008 Academy Awards, where she won the Best Actress Oscar for La Vie En Rose.
Robert has styled numerous leading ladies for the red carpet, including Penelope Cruz, Hilary Swank, Mariah Carey, Salma Hayek, Reneé Zellweger, Naomi Watts, Debra Messing and Angelina Jolie, among many others.
This is great news for Rosario who in truth has been looking fantastic over the past several months. Her hair has been evolving and lately on the Red Carpet she has been rocking a series of half up-half down hairstyles as well as faux mid-length hairstyles.
Moby and Santogold are among the artists set to perform at a special invitation-only party next week to celebrate the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama. De La Soul is also set to perform at the bash which is being hosted by MoveOn.org, OBEY Giant, Michael Stipe, Rosario Dawson, Heather Graham as well as several others.
The party, entitled ‘Manifest Hope: DC Inauguration Party’, is set to take place Monday January 19.

A number of you have written in asking if Rosario Dawson would be attending some events that are coming up in February in New York. In case others don’t know, there will be a premier of the Wonder Woman animated film at New York Comic Con followed by a panel discussion with some of the cast and crew on February 6th.
Also there will be a screening of The People Speak at the Museum of Modern Art in New York that will be followed by readings and musical performances by a number of celebrities and guests on February 11th.
Unfortunately Rosario will not be attending either event due to other travel obligations. However if you would still like to attend to see Wonder Woman a month before its release or watch Rosario in her performance in The People Speak check the sidebar for more information and where to buy tickets.

The Tavis Smiley appearance tonight has been rescheduled to Friday, December 12th since the show wanted to honor to the passing of Odetta. Tune in then to catch the interview with Rosario.
