Exactly five years ago today, with the guidance of friends, I decided to teach myself how to create a website. Long story short, sometime that evening a very plain version of Rosario Dawson Online was born. Countless re-designs, headaches, and major successes later it’s become something I’m pretty proud of. Thanks to people like Melly, Dai, Yolanda, Susannah and others who’ve answered every annoying technical question I’ve had. Special thanks to Justine and Crys who went the extra mile to sign on to be a part of the team. While Justine has moved on to other projects, her work and efforts are still appreciated.

Thank you to all the fans that have been visiting since the beginning and those who discover it each day. Your support is what has kept it running this whole time. From your fan submitted stories, artwork, photos and those who contribute to the forum, comments in the shoutbox and entries it’s clear this place would not function without you. Trust me, we know a re-design is overdue, and at the end of this message you’ll get a sneak peak on what’s in the works. We really encourage you to comment with features you want to see to make this a place you’ll love visiting.

Most of all thank you to Rosario Dawson, clearly without her this site would not exist. The reason this all began was from loving her movies and how much work she’s done for various communities as an activist. We respect her a great deal and we hope that comes across in what we do. Thank you to her for entrusting us here to represent her on some small level. As a fan it still shocks me to this day that she knew this existed, let alone liked it. We can’t wait to see what else she has in store and as she said two years ago, we hope this relationship continues to bring you more things to come.

So thank you again, and as promised, here is a tiny teaser at what you may see sometime soon. (Don’t judge too harshly yet folks, it’s just a photo)

Apologies for the website issues we’ve been having lately, rest assured we’ve been on top of it in order to have the best space for all of you to get the latest news on Rosario Dawson. Just giving you a heads up that within the next coming weeks there will be major changes coming including a new layout and structure to the website. We will of course be updating the gallery with all the recent appearances and events for all of you and possibly have some new sections for you to check out like games and other interactive features.

Welcome back everyone!

After many many glitches we’re back online with a new look, new staff and a fresh start to some old favorites. First off this could have never ever happened without the help of my friend and new co-web Crystal. She is the amazing person who revamped the look and feel of the site and helped out tons with getting things back in the swing of things. Check out her other sites on Anna Paquin and Aaron Stanford, obviously you can see she’s talented.

We do realize there are still some glitches here and there (namely the gallery, but please work with us) but for the most part everything is up and running 100%

Speaking of the gallery, while we will be updating within the next week with dozens of photos since last year, because of some very awful hacker we lost tons of our photos if you couldn’t already tell. So please if you have any that you saved from us before or any that you’re willing to donate, send them on over to rosarioonline[at]gmail.com. We will definitely appreciate it and add you to our list of contributors.

Please re-join the gallery and forums, due to technical issues and trying to fend off potential hackers we had to remove all users as a precaution. So please head on over and re-register. Because I’ve literally had three different people text my phone about this today (I wish I were kidding) I figured I’d at least mention it on the site. I don’t like posting rumors about her personal life because they generally turn out to be false but here goes. It’s been rumored Rosario is dating Hostel director Eli Roth. He (to my knowledge) was the man in the paparazzi video below. I’d like to point out that within the last couple of weeks she’s also been linked to photographer Stephen Shaw, model/actor Andrea Boccaletti, actor Gerard Butler, and sportsman turned actor Rick Fox. Again, remember it’s her personal life, and that this is just a rumor. {nl}{nl}
